Detective Mickey Rat was eating his crunchy cereal when he got a call from the police department. He got dressed and hurried to the scene of the crime. When he got there he asked what had happened here.
A girl replied, “My dog has been stolen.”
Mickey rat said to her,” Tell me exactly what happened.”
“On Friday night I was hungry, so I called Quiznos. Then 30 minutes later my order came. I went to the front door to get my sandwich, and when I opened the door, Sophie jumped up on Jose, the delivery man, so I leaned down to get Sophie. Then my glasses fell off my head. He gave a refrigerator magnet to me and then asked me to sign for my order.
Since I was eating I gave Sophie a little bone to chew on. After that we watched TV for about two hours. The next morning I woke up to my noisy alarm clock at exactly 7:15 A.M. I went downstairs And Sophie wasn’t in her dog bed. That was when I called the police.
Detective Mickey Rat was in the house in a flash. He walked in and found the white sun glasses. He went over to her dog bed and found a green marker underneath the bed.
He went outside with the marker and showed it to Jessie. She recognized the marker and told him that that was the marker she used to sign for my delicious sandwich.
The first thing they had in mind was that Jose had stolen Sophie. They went to his work and found Sophie in the back with Jose. Jose was arrested for dog napping. And Sophie was returned successfully. Detective Mickey Rat had said, “Another crime solved.”
